You will need to cut a LITTLE hair at the scalp in 3-4 locations near the base of the skull. I promise, it's not as much hair as you may think and most people do not even notice the spot it's taken from afterwards. The hair sample must be placed into a paper envelope and mailed back to the lab. You will be given full instructions upon registration.
